There are things you can do that will help meet the needs of others, and at the same time give you a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.

FirstServes are one-time serving opportunities that whet your appetite for serving without asking you to make a long-term commitment until you’re ready. You serve and then evaluate your experience so you can decide whether to try a similar opportunity or something new altogether.

As you experiment with different FirstServe opportunities you will learn about yourself- which needs touch your heart most deeply and which tasks or roles you feel confident and comfortable in—until you can focus in on those one or two areas of service that cause you to think, “This is what I was shaped for!”

As you think about what’s going on currently at Grosvenor, contact us below for the FirstServe Volunteer Interest Form or grab a copy from the Welcome Desk on Sundays to explore opportunities and prayerfully consider how you might begin taking action towards serving at Grosvenor Barnstaple.

After looking through the List, if you find yourself drawn to one or more of the teams listed, either fill out the online form below or complete the “Just Jump in Form” at the Welcome Desk and indicate your interests.

You’ll receive a reply from the leader who heads up that Team. You can then speak to that leader who will answer your questions about the Team and how you can “Jump In”.
